Jam family calendar

Jam is a family organization app that tackles the mental load of coordinating schedules, tasks, and daily life for busy parents. I was brought in to design a responsive, intuitive platform that was accessible and enjoyable for adults and kids.

I created a cohesive design system across all Jam dashboards, calendars and list views. We kept events and to-do items organized by using a color coding system for each family member. I designed AI features like contextual push notifications.

The app is currently on Google Play and the App Store.

Valerie Jurado's floral business

Valerie Jurado runs a successful modern floral business in Downtown LA. I worked remotely with Valerie, her husband and assistant to build a site that matched her current business values and attracted high-end clientele.

To let Valerie's work speak for itself, my design uses minimal UI and immersive photography.

I used Prismic CMS, Next.JS, Tailwind CSS and HTML to build the site. Prismic allows Valerie to swap photos and change text without my help as her business grows.

Customer portal

BAI Connect's customer portal was designed to reduce support calls by letting subscribers self-manage their proprietary WiFi systems—viewing usage, upgrading plans, and controlling connected devices. I led the UI/UX design working directly with marketing, customer support, and development to understand both user pain points and technical constraints.

Designing a completely custom-built product meant endless possibilities. The challenge of this was working with limited software engineering resources. It was important to be strategic about which features would deliver the most value.

With this in mind, I designed intuitive device management dashboards and service upgrade flows, then passed off high-fidelity mockups to our software engineering team. I conducted visual QA throughout the build process and guided the team to follow our mockups.

Major hotel brand icon library

Using a keyline grid as our guide, myself and a teammate built a library of over 100+ proprietary icons for a Fortune 500 Hotel brand portfolio.

Urban Outfitters self checkout

I designed the interface for Urban Outfitters' first self-checkout experiment in the US, launched at their flagship Herald Square location in NYC. Working closely with developers and illustrators, I used custom animations and illustrations that made the checkout process intuitive and on-brand.
